The clapper mechanism feels solid and gives a satisfying ring every time. I use it to round up the kids from the backyard and it cuts through the noise better than yelling ever did.
The sound carries way further than I expected—my neighbor heard it from two houses down and asked where I got it. Mounting it near the back porch took five minutes and now supper time actually feels like an event.
The clapper is solid and swings easily, so even my kids can ring it from the porch without struggling. It’s got that authentic western ring that carries across the yard, and supper time has become a lot less yelling and a lot more fun.
