I was skeptical about silicone holders for cast iron, but this one fits my skillet handle perfectly and stays put even when I’m moving the pan around. I’ve used it at 400°F and my hand stayed completely cool.
I needed something to grip my hot skillet handles without burning myself, and this silicone holder does the job perfectly. It fits snugly on my standard Lodge pan and withstands 450°F without any melting or slipping.
