The walnut grain is beautiful and the oval shape fits my larger skillet perfectly. It’s been a sturdy, heat-safe base while serving and protects the counter without any sliding around.
I was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly this walnut underliner fits my larger cast iron pieces — the oval shape really balances the table. The wood is smooth to the touch and has already protected my counter from a few hot spots without any stains or marks showing up.
The oval shape fits my cast iron skillet perfectly and the walnut grain really dresses up the table. It’s sturdy enough to handle the heat without any warping, and the surface stays smooth after multiple uses.
