The Connecticut engraving on the handle is a nice touch of local pride, and the skillet arrived perfectly pre-seasoned with a smooth cooking surface. I made cornbread in it last night, and the sides released cleanly without any sticking. It's now my go-to pan for weekend breakfasts.
I was pleasantly surprised by how evenly this skillet heats up—the seasoning already has a nice, non-stick patina right out of the box. It's great for searing burgers or frying up some Connecticut-style clams.
This pan is heavy and feels solid—perfect for searing steaks without any warping. The Connecticut engraving on the bottom is a nice touch for a local gift. Already made cornbread in it and it came out with a perfect crust.
