The heat retention on this little cast iron pot is fantastic — it kept my cheese dip bubbling for a full hour on the table. Perfect for adding a smoky edge to sauces right on the grill grates.
I've been using this to make dips and sauces on my charcoal grill, and the heat distribution is surprisingly even across the whole pot. The natural seasoning on the cast iron gave my cheese fondue a nice, subtle smokiness on the first try.
Grabbed this for camping and the cast iron holds heat so evenly, even over a campfire. Already got a perfect crust on some burgers after just one use, and cleanup was basically nothing.
