The skillet arrived perfectly seasoned and ready to go—I made cornbread in it the first night and nothing stuck. The Tennessee design on the handle is a nice touch that makes it feel special every time I reach for it.
The Tennessee state pattern is beautifully etched into the cast iron, and the seasoning gives it a perfect non-stick surface right out of the box. My cornbread came out with a golden, crispy crust that I just couldn't get from my old pans.
Picked this up for my kitchen and the seasoning was ready to cook with right out of the box—first batch of cornbread came out perfect. The handle has a nice heft to it and the Tennessee engraving adds a personal touch.
