It’s exactly the right size for my teapot, and the butterfly design is so pretty I almost hate hiding it under a hot pan. The cast iron is heavier than I expected for an 8-inch piece, which means it stays put on the counter. Perfect little nod to Dolly while doing its job.
The cast iron is surprisingly sturdy and it handles my heaviest Dutch oven without any wobble. The butterfly detail is crisp and the finish hasn't chipped after a month of use.
The butterfly detailing is so charming and really captures the spirit of the song. It's sturdy enough for my Dutch oven and the 8-inch size is perfect for smaller pots—exactly what I needed for my counter.
