The seasoning coating is flawless right out of the box—my eggs slid around like they were on a nonstick pan, and the heat retention kept dinner warm long after we pulled it off the campfire. For the weight, it’s surprisingly balanced when you’re holding it with one hand during a stir.
The dual handles make it way easier to lift over a campfire than my old single-grip pan, and the heat retention is exactly what I needed for steady pancakes. It’s got a naturally seasoned surface, so eggs slid right off on the first trip, no extra oil fuss.
The seasoning on this pan is spot-on right out of the box—eggs slid around with zero sticking over the campfire. You can feel the heat retention the moment the iron gets hot, and it stayed searing even after I pulled it off the flames.
