That lid with the Yellowstone Y is a nice touch, but what really sold me is how evenly it holds heat over the coals—my stew came out perfect with no burnt spots. It's heavy, sure, but that's exactly what you want for a solid piece of camp cookware.
The 12-inch depth is perfect for cooking chili for a crowd over the campfire, and the lid fits snugly to keep steam in. Clean-up was easier than I expected for a cast iron pot.
