The skillet arrived heavier than I expected for its size, which tells me it'll hold up for years. The seasoning is smooth and non-stick right out of the box, and I love that the Dolly quote is stamped right into the handle so it's there every time I cook.
The "What Would Dolly Do?" engraving on the handle makes me smile every time I pull this skillet out, and the pre-seasoned surface was ready to fry an egg right out of the box. My first skillet cake came out perfectly golden and didn't stick at all.
I used this skillet for a skillet cake and it heated evenly, giving a perfect golden crust. The seasoning is already non-stick, and the Dolly quote on the handle is a nice touch.
