I was skeptical about the lid-as-grill-pan gimmick, but it genuinely works—seared a steak on top while simmering sauce below, and cleanup was quicker than my old setup. The 6-quart size handled a whole chicken with room to spare.

The lid flipping into a grill pan is brilliant—made a perfect steak while roasting potatoes underneath. Cleanup was quick too, which is rare for a dutch oven.

Finally cooked a steak and veggies all in one pot—used the lid as the grill pan while the base simmered the sides. Perfectly seared steak and tender veggies with zero extra dishes.
