The handles are comfortable even when the bag is loaded down with my heaviest cast iron, and that padded interior gives me total peace of mind bouncing over rough trails. It’s become a permanent part of my camp kit.
This bag swallows my 12-inch Dutch oven and lid with room to spare, and the heavy-duty padding lets me toss it in the truck bed without a second thought. Cooked a whole stew under the stars last weekend, and carrying it the mile to camp was no sweat. Exactly what I needed for open-fire meals.
The padding is seriously sturdy—I tossed mine in the back of the truck with firewood and cast iron, and everything came out unscathed. The handles make it easy to haul over uneven trails, so my cookware finally travels as well as I do.
