The buffalo nickel design on the handle is a nice touch that actually gets compliments when I leave it out on the stove. The cast iron holds heat beautifully for searing, and it's been pre-seasoned so I could cook with it right out of the box. Sturdy and easy to clean, just like I hoped.

Heats up evenly and the cured surface held up great through a few rounds of bacon and cornbread. It’s heavier than I expected, but that just means it’s built to last.

I’ve been using it every morning for a week and the heat retention is exactly what I wanted—eggs cook evenly without any hot spots. The seasoning feels smooth and non-stick right out of the box, so it’s already my go-to pan.
