Was a bit worried the spiral design wouldn't fit my older pot, but the threading matched perfectly and it tightened down without any wobble. The handle feels sturdy enough to lift a full 9-quart batch of chili.
Finally got the handle swapped out on my old 9 quart dutch oven and it fits perfectly, the spiral design gives a much better grip than the straight wire handle I was using before. No wobble at all even when the pot's full of chili.
The bail handle fit perfectly on my 9-quart dutch oven, and the spiral design actually gives a much better grip than the standard straight handle. It feels sturdy enough to handle the weight of a full pot, which is exactly what I needed for camping meals.
