The cowboy-on-horseback design is even sharper in person, and the square shape leaves perfect sear marks that make my steaks look like they came off a ranch fire. I've used it three times already and the seasoning has held up beautifully with just a light oil wipe after each cook.

I was skeptical the square shape would cook evenly, but the grill ridges sear steaks beautifully and the seasoning holds up after a few aggressive washes. The cowboy design on the bottom is a nice touch when you hang it up, and the handle stays cool enough to grip without a mitt.

The cowboy embossing on the bottom is such a fun detail for any fan of the show, and the preseasoned surface handled my first steak without sticking at all. Cleanup took two minutes with just hot water and a brush, which sold me on cast iron for good.
