Heavy enough to stay put on the counter, but the engraved “Power Y” design gives it a rugged look that matches my kitchen. I used it under a hot Dutch oven straight from the stove and the surface stayed cool to the touch.
Heats up beautifully and evenly, and that Power Y design really adds a rugged touch to my kitchen table. I’ve used it for everything from hot skillets to coffee carafes, and it hasn’t stained or warped at all.
I was worried it might be too small for my dutch oven, but the 8-inch size is actually perfect for most of my pots. The cast iron is already nicely seasoned, so nothing sticks to it.
