I’m 5’2” and my partner’s 6’1”, so the adjustable height is a lifesaver—we can both cook comfortably over the fire without one of us crouching. The legs lock solidly even on uneven ground, and it packs down compact enough to strap to my daypack.
Setting up camp in that rocky spot by the creek was a breeze since I could drop the legs low and keep the pot steady right over the flames. The twist-lock mechanism held firm even when I adjusted it one-handed mid-cook.
It’s held up through three rocky campsites so far, and the height adjustment is honestly a lifesaver when I’m switching between a fire pit and a portable stove. The legs feel sturdy even on uneven ground, and it packs down small enough to toss in my backpack without a fuss.
