The parchment is heavy-duty enough that it didn't tear when I lifted out a full pot of stew, and cleanup was literally just a one-step toss in the fire. I've used other liners that stuck to the sides, but these lifted right out without leaving a trace.
I was dreading cleaning the cast iron after a chili cook-off, but these parchment liners made the whole "remove and toss" promise a reality. The paper held up perfectly to the bubbling stew without tearing or burning.
The liners fit perfectly in my 6-quart pot, and lifting out the mess after a chili cook-off took ten seconds flat. No scrubbing, no soaking—just a clean pot ready for the next meal.
