Putting a hot Dutch oven directly on my quartz countertop made me nervous, but this wooden underliner handles the weight and heat perfectly without a single mark. It’s also solid enough that my cast iron skillet doesn’t slip around when I’m serving straight from the stovetop.
I needed something to keep my cast iron from scratching the granite, and this wood underliner fits perfectly without sliding around. It's solid and the wood grain matches my kitchen decor nicely.
I was tired of water rings on my oak table, so this wooden underliner is a lifesaver. The rectangular shape is wide enough for my Dutch oven, and it hasn't shifted at all under the weight. Surprised how sturdy it feels for such a simple accessory.
