I accidentally knocked a pan against the sink the other day and didn't even flinch — these protectors have already saved my rims from a few dings. They also let me stack my pots without worrying about moisture getting trapped.
I was tired of finding water spots on my pans after stacking them, and these little inserts solved that perfectly by letting air circulate between each piece. The rim fit is snug enough that they don't slip around, but easy to pop in and out.
Finally, a simple solution for keeping my cast iron from clanking together in the cabinet—the airflow gap between pans is a huge plus for preventing rust. These little spacers fit perfectly on the rim and have already saved my favorite skillet from new chips.
