The cast iron holds heat so well that the butter stayed melted the whole time I was basting steaks, and the silicone brush didn’t shed a single bristle. Cleanup was just a quick wipe since it’s naturally seasoned. This thing’s a keeper for anyone who likes cooking outdoors.
I’ve used it three weekends in a row for melting butter and cheese right on the grill, and the naturally seasoned surface means nothing sticks at all. The brush is a nice bonus too, even if the bristles feel a bit stiff at first.
The cast iron holds heat so well that I can keep my butter melted and brushed on steaks throughout the whole cook without it cooling off. The naturally seasoned surface made cleanup a breeze, and the brush fits right inside the pot for storage.
